We're looking to expand our team of Licensed Asbestos Removal Operatives(s). They are at the forefront of protecting the health and safety of workers and members of the public/ building occupants, during asbestos removal work.
We're looking for experienced licensed asbestos operatives, but
we're also open to training the right people
. If you've got transferable skills from another trade and the drive to learn, we'll give you the support and training you need to get qualified and succeed in the role.

Your impact will include:
You'll ensure the highest standards of safety and attention to detail in your work to deliver exceptional results
Putting your training and knowledge to good use, following safe working practices to make sure everything's up to scratch; if you see something that needs doing, you'll crack on with it without waiting to be asked
Never compromising on critical safety standards, ensuring all incidents and near misses get reported, and using your experience to continuously improve how we work and prevent future risks.
Playing a key role in public safety, ensuring buildings and sites - often in schools, hospitals, homes, and workplaces - are safe for occupation and future use.

What You'll Bring:
Essential:
Experience working on construction sites, or transferrable skills from a different trade involving manual work
Full driving licence and your own vehicle, or the ability to get to pick-up points/ sites in Oxfordshire, e.g. public transport
You must be prepared to work a full 8 hour day with an hour break on top
Some knowledge of H&S requirements and responsibilities; working safely is important to you
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Exceptional attention to detail
Able to undertake a physical role, sometimes in restricted spaces like lofts and ducts, and wear full face RPE (you will need to be clean shaven daily)
You'll be the face of the company on site, so you'll need to look presentable and be able to handle questions from clients or the public about the work in a professional way. If you're ever unsure, you'll direct them to your supervisor
Useful:
Current Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative certification
Experience in non-licensed asbestos removal work
PASMA training to safely install and inspect a mobile tower
IPAF Scissor & Boom certificate
If you already have any of the above, that will set your application apart, but we'll provide any training needed for the role and for you to develop further.
What's in it for you?
Full-time (40 hour minimum) permanent position
Day shift, typically 7:30am - 4:30pm. Hours can vary depending on the project. Weekend work and night shifts are occasionally offered, if the project requires.
Pay
up to 160 per day (20/hr), dependant on experience
