Trainee Asbestos Removal Operatives

The Role
We're seeking motivated individuals to train as Asbestos Removal Operatives. No prior experience in asbestos removal is required as full, comprehensive training will be provided. You'll work alongside experienced operatives, learning all aspects of safe asbestos removal under strict supervision. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities (under supervision):
Assisting experienced operatives with the safe and compliant removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
Learning and adhering to all health and safety regulations, company procedures, and industry best practices (e.g., Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012).
Setting up and dismantling exclusion zones, decontamination units, and plant.
Assisting with air management and negative pressure systems.
Carrying out thorough cleaning and decontamination of work areas.
Proper bagging and disposal of asbestos waste.
Maintaining and cleaning equipment and tools.
Wearing and maintaining appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protective equipment (RPE).
Participating in all required training and safety briefings.
Working effectively as part of a team.

Requirements
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HOLD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND HAVE HELD IT FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS.
Right to work in the UK.
A satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be required upon offer of employment.
