Whether your role is to improve process efficiency, monitor aircraft movements or oversee safety measures, you'll be vital to the continuing smooth running of our airport.

As a Licensing Audit Officer, you play a vital role in ensuring the effective administration, enforcement, and continuous improvement of licensing functions under the Ground Operations Licence (GOL) and Airside Operations Licence (AOL).

Presenting audit findings and safety performance data to senior stakeholders, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Supporting assurance activities and contribute to strategic projects alongside the Lead Licensing Manager. Championing a positive safety culture, promoting a 'just' culture across Airside Operations and the wider Heathrow community.

Experience of conducting audits and making key decisions within this process. Attention to detail, with the ability to compose high quality formal documentation. The ability to develop positive and productive relationships for effective stakeholder management. Excellent IT literacy with the ability to develop reports or other information formats which 'tells a story' or demonstrates a need for change. Ability to follow a defined process but also able to think laterally ('around the problem') when required. A valid UK driving license and occupational health medical check to obtain an Airside Driving Permit.

Ideally, you will also have:

Knowledge of following and continuously improving the Airside Licensing Programme using a risk-based approach. The ability to report on data trends and present to stakeholders. Experience of working in an Airfield/Airside environment.
