Life & Medical Insurance Information Analyst

Location: London

You will have a working knowledge of life insurance, medical insurance or pensions around the world. You will be working as a technical claims\xe2\x80\x99 advisor, underwriter or Broker.

You enjoy research and uncovering information and are looking for a new opportunity.

Undertaking online research for a wide range of insurance topics. The research would focus on life insurance, medical insurance, and pensions and cover over 170 markets around the world. Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insurance information to clients in various output formats.

As our Life and Medical Insurance Information Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Factual checking and editing of updates to our Life and Benefits Insurance Market Reports, ensuring that each update makes sense for the market being covered.
  • Assisting in handling client helpline enquiries by researching and answering technical insurance questions.
  • Briefing our consultant writers on insurance issues in the market and gaps in our market knowledge.
  • The production of insurance regulatory alerts, including identifying alerts that are of interest to our clients, online research, interpretation of regulatory changes (often using Google translate) and writing a summary of the new regulation.
  • Ad hoc projects.
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
  • An excellent technical understanding of life and private medical insurance.
  • Ability to assimilate large amounts of data/information and produce concise summaries in an appropriate format.
  • Ability to undertake regulatory intelligence research without supervision.
  • Ability to understand and interpret legal text.
  • Strong administrative skills / MS Office software user (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to write and proof-read in excellent English.
  • Language skills will be very well regarded.
