Lifeguard/Sports Assistant

12.62 per hour (10.00ph for U18's)

Start Date: September, 2025

We are looking for friendly and motivated Lifeguards/Sports Assistants to provide daily support to the Duty Manager in the effective operation of the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre and ensuring the safety of pool users by preventing and responding to emergencies. You'll assist in making sure all facilities are safe and clean, and work as part of the lifeguard team in ensuring health and safety on the poolside, and provide first response to any rescue/first aid needs.

You'll also support the preparation of sports equipment including setting up, issue and recovery of equipment as required for each activity as well as undertaking administrative and reception duties relating to bookings and issuing tickets.

From September, we have a variety of shifts available during the weekday evenings and weekends depending on availability. Shift patterns and confirmation of hours can be discussed at interview.
