You'll manage a caseload of clients, facilitating positive lifestyle changes through personalized programs focused on physical activity, nutrition, weight management and wider determinants of health.

Qualifications
Essential

• Recognised GP referral Qualification
• Vocational qualification in coaching, teaching and instruction of physical activity (at least level 2 reps)

• Recognised Level 4 qualification (REPS)
• Health related degree
• Nutritional qualification
• Children's/ Young people's physical activity qualification

• Knowledge of physiological benefits and fitness programming for a range of medical conditions
• To understand principles of Motivational Interviewing and models of behaviour change model
• Knowledge of nutrition and weight management principles
• Knowledge of relevant Partner agencies and their functions

• Knowledge to run weight management courses

• Demonstrable experience of the application of the principles of Motivational Interviewing and use of models of behaviour change
• Development and delivery of exercise classes for special populations
• Management of caseloads of clients over a long term period
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Work effectively with a range of external partners

• Experience of delivering weight management courses
