About the Role

As our Lifestyle Lead, you will play a vital role in enhancing wellbeing through fun, engaging, and personalised activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a varied weekly programme of person-centred activities, including some evenings and weekends. Develop tailored activity plans based on residents' interests, abilities, and personal goals. Encourage social interaction, creativity, movement, and connection throughout the home. Lead and support a small activities team, assisting with rotas and basic HR tasks (with Home Manager guidance). Organise and promote internal events and community-linked activities. Maintain accurate records to evidence engagement and wellbeing. Chair the Activities Committee and help shape the home's community and culture.

We're seeking someone who is:

Energetic, creative, and caring, with a genuine passion for supporting older adults. A confident communicator who enjoys leading activities and motivating others. Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied schedule. Passionate about making a meaningful, positive impact each day. Experienced in care, activity coordination, or leadership (preferred but not essential).

Requirements

Right to work in the UK (Essential)

Ability to commute or relocate to Ty Coch Nursing Home, Wales (Required)

Previous experience in care, activities, or team leadership (Preferred)
