Trent Bridge Care Home consists of 72 bedrooms, arranged over four floors. Each community has 18 bedrooms, lounge, dining room and a kitchenette. The home also has a bistro / cafe area, cinema, spa area, garden room and cinema. Trent Bridge's roof terrace is its crowning glory with stunning views over Nottingham - even the castle in the distance can be seen.

As a Lifestyle Manager you will be responsible for coordinating, planning and implementing activities appropriate to clients' needs and requests and you will be assisting the Registered Manager to organise fundraising events. Also, you will get to know each resident and their needs, ensure residents settle into Tanglewood happily and have a positive experience and enjoyable time with us and making them feel at home and welcome.
There are plenty of responsibilities within the role of Lifestyle Manager which include:
Help clients to socialise within the care home and provide a diverse variety of activities that cater for all individuals,
Accompany clients where possible, to off-site activities which may occasionally take place outside normal working hours,
Assist with fundraising and budgeting for entertainments, materials and outings
Maintain full and accurate records of daily activities, using appropriate documentation and assist the named carer to review and update client care files
Provide comfort and company on a one to one basis for clients who are unable to undertake any form of activity,
Actively market the care home and promote a positive personal / professional profile within the local community,
Help to create an atmosphere that suits individual clients within the care home,
Undertake all the administration for activities, including production of the monthly newsletter, posters, booking of acts and booking of transport required for activities etc.
Distribute post and newspapers to residents,
A listening ear to pass on concerns or queries, helping residents feel settled,
Ensure their own personal space feels as homely as residents want it to be,
Ensure your residents are comfortable and liaise as necessary with housekeeping/ maintenance/care team leaders/ catering/ hairdressing/chiropody,
Help with correspondence/ banking/ shopping/ post office/ library/ booking a table at a restaurant/keeping in touch with family/ e-mailing/ phoning,
Spend one to one time, e.g. looking at photo albums, general chatting, reading, and talking etc,
Adapt and create an atmosphere that suits individual residents and their needs.
