The Role


You will be responsible for the installation, servicing and repair of stairlifts, through the floor lifts, home lifts and associated equipment within domestic dwellings, commercial environments and social services contracts.

All of our engineers are equipped with company van, and mobile telephone, therefore a clean driving license is essential for the role.

DBS

check will be performed on the successful candidate and this is also essential for this role due to the nature of the clients involved with our business.

We are looking for individuals who ideally have experience of working in the lift industry however, candidates with a service or engineering background from different industries may also be considered. For example vehicle mechanics or electricians.

What matters to us is that you have the right attitude to customer service combined with a high level of workmanship. You must also have a smart appearance, be self-motivated and work with a minimum of supervision.

Key Responsibilities



Installing, servicing, and repairing stairlifts, home lifts, platform lifts, hoists and stair climbers. Fitting other equipment that customers may need such as grab rails. Ability to our service area across the Midlands and East Anglia. Assisting our other engineers when jobs require 2 or more engineers. Attend mandatory brand training

The Candidate


Must be of smart appearance, self-motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship. Be able to work with minimal supervision and ask for and, accept assistance when required.

Desirable requirements/qualifications:



NVQ level 2 in Stairlift Maintenance. If you don't have this we can support you through a training course. Mechanical or Electrical qualification (desirable)
On-the-job training can be completed, the above is desirable but not strictly necessary.
