Job Overview


Are you passionate, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference? At Academy Lifts, we are expanding our Lift Maintenance team and are on the lookout for a skilled Lift Engineer to join our dynamic and supportive team based in our Warrington office.

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventive maintenance, small repairs, and breakdown callouts on all types of lifts, including participating in our out-of-hours rota. You will work predominantly in the North-West area, making every day an exciting and varied experience.

Salary: 41,000.00 - 45,500.00 basic, dependent on experience Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:00 am - 4:45 pm, Friday: 08:00 am - 3:45 pm, plus overtime opportunities

Working hours:



Monday - Thursday 08.00 am - 4.45pm + travelling time

Friday - 08.00 - 3.30pm

30 minute lunch break for lunch

On call Out of working hours rota (1 in 4)

Your Role:



As a Lift Engineer, you'll take pride in delivering exceptional service to our customers by:

Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of lift equipment Troubleshooting and fault finding, ensuring high standards of performance and safety Responding to callouts and participating in an out-of-hours rota Engaging in proactive communication with customers and internal teams Continuously improving lift equipment performance and safety

What We're Looking For:



A full UK Driver's License NVQ3 or relevant experience Excellent customer service and engineering skills Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail. Effective time management and a conscientious, reliable attitude Confidence to make decisions when needed and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
