Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for a Lift Technician to join the Bristol Branch working across the South West. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Stannah a well know family-run company with great benefits.

As a Lift Technician, you will provide senior-level technical product and engineering expertise in the installation, maintenance, refurbishment and repair of industrial lifts, escalators and associated equipment. You will be expected to complete technical assessments and determine any faults, providing resolutions, along with process and cost reporting.

All of our Lift Technicians carry out thorough examinations and test to current standards/regulations including BS 8486 and EN81 20/50.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who is qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.

A company vehicle will be provided as part of the role to allow you to travel around your designated area.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigation reports
  • Day to day site supervision of lift removals, installations and refurbishments
  • Monitoring site safety, quality, compliance with specification and measuring performance of sub- contractors
  • Dealing with site technical queries
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 4 in Lift Engineering
  • Full driving licence
