We are actively recruiting a Lifting and Certification Controller to work within our Logistics Department. The Lifting and Equipment Controller will be required to co-ordinate Metrol's lifting support services within all base facilities and oil field operations both on & offshore globally to comply with all current lifting regulations as required within the UK, (LOLER) & Norwegian (NORSOK) lifting regulations.

Principal Duties

The Lifting Certification Controller will be required to:

Ensure compliance of CCU's (Cargo Carrying Units) on base and offshore meet required standards for use. Arrange rental and/or purchase of all associated lifting equipment in use by Metrol Conduct visual and certification inspections on lifting equipment and rental CCU's within Metrol Review and sign off pre-load out documentation. Support field operations team with any lifting & certification related enquiries. Co-ordinate with Facilities team to conduct annual & bi-annual inspections of all LOLER related storage & lifting equipment. (Cranes, forklifts, pallet trucks, slings, shackles, storage racks, etc..) Update lifting and certification procedures as and when required, including inspection sheets. Maintain a clean, safe and tidy workplace. Adhere to the set standards of personal safety in the workplace Perform any required duties in line with Metrol's QHSE policies Attend any relevant training courses as requested by management Advance the interests of Metrol where possible

Required Knowledge & Experience

The Lifting Certification Controller is required to have the following knowledge & experience:

Experience with Microsoft Office applications; Word and Excel essential Experience with LOLER and NORSOK lifting regulations Forklift training
