The role:

Lifting Engineer or Inspector

Full-time or Part-time

Permanent

Competitive salary

Midlands: Netherton or Minworth depot

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough examinations of lifting equipment, such as cranes, hoists, slings, chains, and other accessories, in compliance with LOLER and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations). Perform regular and on-demand inspections to identify potential defects or safety issues. Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports, including assessments of equipment safety and compliance. Travel to client sites to carry out inspections, which may involve working in challenging environments or at height.

About you:

LEEA Certification or equivalent Strong knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, and associated regulations is desirable Experience inspecting lifting equipment in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas is desirable Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points*
