Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance and repair of a wide variety of vehicles up to 3.5ton pickups, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Prepare and present vehicles for MOT
- Service to manufacturers recommendations
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs
- Test vehicle systems and components
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations,
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanic
- Relevant qualifications in automotive engineering
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication abilities to liaise with customers and colleagues
