Formation Lighting is a service-driven, Architectural Lighting manufacturer supplying specialist lighting solutions in the UK.
We are based in London, with factories in Chelmsford and Somerset.
We work closely with architects, lighting designers, MEP consultants, and all other members of the project team.
Formation Lighting specializes in delivering lighting solutions for commercial office, residential, retail, healthcare, leisure, and industry projects.

Job Title: Lighting Designer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute design concepts
- Create visually appealing and engaging designs for various platforms, including print and digital media
- Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval
- Ensure all designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency across all channels

Experience:
- Proven experience as a lighting designer or similar environment (minimum 5 years)

- Experience managing a team of lighting designers
- Proficient in lighting design software such as Dialux/Relux
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
