Accountabilities and Main Duties:



Due to maternity leave within the business, we are looking to employ a Lightning Protection Contract Coordinator on a fixed-term basis. Subject to business growth and performance, there is possibility of a permanent position being offered at the end of the temporary contract.

The role is to produce and submit reports on all completed inspections in a timely manner - by the end of the day following date of inspection. To book in planned works with clients ensuring all site-specific arrangements are obtained and added to ERP to allow works to be completed on time and within quoted allowance. Liaise with clients to ensure clear communication of reports and their contents is achieved.

Liaise with the remedial manager to ensure all information is provided to successfully produce a remedial quote for the report submittal.

Communicate with all site engineers in relation to clarifying any outstanding questions.

Key tasks/areas, duties and responsibilities:



Sort returned site job reports on receipt and distribute information to remedial manager.

Ensure inspection reports for all completed works are returned in a timely manner and liaise with site operatives should any not be returned.

Vett and convert completed job reports to be submitted to clients.

Vett PPE inspection reports, from information received from site, to be submitted to clients.

Communicate PPE sales opportunities/fails to the PPE department

Maintain input and improvement of information into ERP upon receipt of information.

Adhere to the clients stated processes for reporting (i.e. 4P, dropbox etc) and maintain a good understanding of clients stated processes for reporting and communicate to others within the test and inspection department.

To book in planned works with clients.

Arranging permits to work in accordance with clients requirements.

Provide written /verbal administrative support to clients when required.

Vett the transfer of all processed reports (paper and electronic) onto ERP.

Provide administrative support with respect to logistical requirements of the department (i.e. booking travel, organising training sessions, completing security clearances etc)

Provide administrative support to the remedial department in respect to processing certification of repaired items.

To be familiar with test procedures for each component

Develop self and maintain knowledge in relevant fields at all times and obtain and maintain knowledge on all relevant BS and EN standards that are inspected by the department including the current Work at Height (Amendment) Regulations 2007

Provide cover for other roles within the department when required.

Maintain an up-to-date training record, by completing all required, assigned and organised training
