Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen protocols. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to maintain high standards of presentation and taste.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in food production within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary. Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods relevant to a restaurant setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to contribute positively to the hospitality experience of our guests.
