Killeavy Castle Estate is seeking a Linen porter to join our team. In your role of Linen Porter you will be responsible for being part of the housekeeping operation within the Hotel and reporting to the Accommodation Manager.
In your role of Linen Porter you will be responsible for operating the housekeeping function within the Hotel working with senior level management and the Deputy General Manager to ensure the constant delivery of the core mission and values of Killeavy Castle Estate. To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will enjoy the prospect of working in a fast-paced, busy working environment and, ideally, have experience in a busy 4property.
Role Objective;
Working as part of the housekeeping function the Linen Porter will provide the highest level of service in a customer focused environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one years' experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. You will possess excellent interpersonal, communication skills and will enjoy building good working relationships
Key Duties include;
Operating effective housekeeping service with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service.
Set-up of the various outlets in accordance with the pre-determined standards of the operation
Ensure compliance with all Company Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures.
Present a cohesive image and adhere to the correct standards of appearance
Ensure the highest standards of service are given at all timest
Vacuum corridors at the end of a shift
Maintain all cleaning programmes as directed.
Present on duty in full uniform including name badge
Attend all statutory training
Other duties as requested by management.
Key Skills and Experience include;
One years' experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,420.00-26,500.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
Newry and Mourne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
