We're on the lookout for an experienced

Litho Printer / Press Operator

to join the team at B&B Press and run our

B2 Heidelberg LED UV press

.

Hours:

40 hours per week

Salary:

38,000-40,000 per year (depending on experience)
You'll be responsible for producing

high quality, sustainable print

- not the quick, cheap and cheerful stuff. Our customers expect the best, and so do we.

What you'll be doing

Running a

B2 Heidelberg LED UV press

to a consistently high standard Producing print to

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Carbon Balanced Print

standards Managing

customer press passes

and representing the press room professionally Making

dot gain adjustments

and other press tweaks to maintain accurate colour Carrying out

consumables stock takes

and keeping everything shipshape Working closely with

internal departments

(sales, studio, finishing) to keep jobs moving smoothly Spotting and correcting issues quickly - from colour variation to print defects Supporting your teammates to keep the press room running efficiently and safely
What we're looking for

Significant, recent experience

of running Heidelberg presses

LED UV experience

is a strong advantage

Excellent colour knowledge

and the ability to spot poor print at a glance Experience using

colour management software

and printing to

ISO / FOGRA standards

Strong communication skills - you're comfortable talking to colleagues and occasionally to customers on press passes A genuine

care for the finished product

- you take pride in every sheet that leaves your press

Exceptional attention to detail

and a commitment to doing things properly

Reliable and punctual

, with good time management

Flexible and understanding

of the demands of the print industry A

calm, approachable and professional

manner, even when it's busy
