We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Bystronic CNC press brake machines to produce precision metal components in line with engineering drawings, specifications, and strict quality standards.
You will be expected to work independently in programming and operating the press brake, performing first-off and in-process inspections, and ensuring all work meets the required tolerances and standards.

Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines independently
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Carry out first-off and in-process inspections to ensure part accuracy
Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain precision and tolerance
Accurately complete job cards and associated paperwork
Supervising Junior press operators and providing training
Identify and report any machine, job, or quality issues promptly
Batch, package, and store finished goods securely in allocated areas
Maintain company procedures relating to ISO quality standards
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets and deadlines
Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety policies
Essential Requirements
GCSE or equivalent education
Minimum 2 years' experience operating CNC press brake machinery (Bystronic, Amada, Trumpf, etc.)
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Forklift licence (training can be provided if required)
Working Hours
This role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
Day Shift:
06:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday
Back Shift:
16:00 - 02:00, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rates:
Day Shift: 14.30/hour + overtime at time and a half
Back Shift: 17.16/hour + overtime at time and a half
