Compack Livingston are a well-established supplier of high-quality cartons and luxury packaging for the food, drink and pharmaceutical industry throughout Scotland. The company is part of the Mclaren Packaging group of companies and have ambitious plans to grow the Livingston facility. As such we currently have a vacancy for a No2 Litho Printer / Minder.

The role would suit a No.2 Printer / Minder and is to assist in the smooth operation of our multi-unit sheet fed B1 Litho Press.

Job Responsibilities include:

To comply with current systems of working.

To achieve established quality standards.

Maximise machine efficiency.

Participate in continuous development and training.

Participate in continuous improvements initiatives in production.

To assist No. 1 Printer in the smooth running of the press.

Assisting with the smooth transition of colour / job changes and wash ups

Potential to offer short term cover for the No1 Operator

Experience needed:

Relevant UV & IR Litho Experience in the printing and packaging industry, ideally experienced in running high quality cartons.

Understanding of colour control and QC methods

Demonstratable experience of working to high quality standard.

Demonstratable experience of good team working & communication skills.

Show drive and ambition to grow themselves and the business.

Good health and safety awareness.
