Job Description
Freelance Litigation Solicitor (Part-Time / As Needed)
Location: Remote (with occasional meetings in London)
Rate: 35-70 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Type: Freelance / Part-Time / Flexible Contract
We are seeking a practical and experienced litigation solicitor to work with our company on a flexible, as-needed basis to manage ongoing commercial and property litigation matters.
This role is ideal for a freelance solicitor, sole practitioner, or semi-retired litigator looking for flexible remote work with a consistent stream of matters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage 4-5 ongoing litigation files internally
Liaise with and instruct counsel
Prepare court documents, case summaries, bundles, and witness statements
Attend occasional in-person meetings or hearings (if required)
Advise directors on litigation strategy and updates
Requirements
UK-qualified solicitor with minimum 5 years' PQE
Experience in commercial litigation and property disputes
Ability to work independently and liaise with barristers/counsel
Cost-conscious, pragmatic approach
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: 35.00-75.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
