Are you looking to break into the legal profession? We're offering a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our Debt Recovery Litigation team as a Paralegal. No previous legal experience is necessary - we are more interested in your mindset than your CV.
If you are curious, proactive, and interested in the legal process - particularly in helping businesses and individuals recover what they are owed - we want to hear from you. We'll provide full training, and if you are open to gaining formal legal qualifications (e.g. CILEX, SQE), we are happy to support you on that journey.

What you'll do
The Paralegal will be supporting the firm's Solicitors in the following activities:
Processing a high volume of contested debt recovery cases in line with client Service Level Agreements.
Assessing prospects of success of a claim at regular intervals and producing appropriate case plans to achieve desirable outcomes.
Managing own caseload providing advice to clients from instruction to hearing / settlement and actively managing own diary to stay on top of key dates.
Drafting and preparing witness statements, statements of costs and preparing court bundles.
Corresponding with clients, customers, and third parties at key stages throughout the legal process to provide updates.
Drafting all documentation in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct.
