Litigation Solicitor

This company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team. As a Litigation Solicitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the matters undertaken by the Litigation Department are processed accordingly, following the policies and procedures established and accreditation\'s achieved by the Firm.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise all aspects of the work undertaken by the Litigation Department
• Undertake all aspects of work in Litigation matters for clients
• Ensure diligent and efficient conduct of all work undertaken
• Liaise with and delegate to secretarial/support staff as appropriate in the most cost-effective way
• Maintain client care as the up most priority
• Prepare affidavits, injunctions, statements, notices, applications, pleadings, and other legal forms/documents
• Obtain and review evidence and statements
• Prepare brief for Counsel and document bundles as instructed
• Assist with financial management of all matters
• Ensure that clients are kept satisfied at all times and to resolve any concerns promptly and courteously
• Ensure training requirements are complied with and recorded

Requirements:

• Membership of Professional body
• Ability to explain legal matters to non-experts
• Previous depth experience acting as a fee earner in Litigation, including Property cases
• Assertive in when to make decision and when to seek guidance
• Investigatory approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and organise work activities and time
• Numerate: ability to make sense of financial information and track working time
• Strong IT skills: adaptability to information systems quickly, ability to learn how to use case management systems effectively
• Excellent literacy skills including drafting style, attention to detail and accurate use of the English language
• Clear and concise communication, good listener and able to adapt information to suit the audience
• Courteous, considerate and respectful to clients and others members of the team
