Adam Bernard Solicitors is seeking an experienced and dynamic
Litigation Solicitor
to join our expanding Dispute Resolution Department. We are looking for a candidate with strong advocacy skills, sound legal judgement, and the ability to manage a diverse litigation caseload independently.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of litigation matters with minimal supervision.
Handle all stages of litigation, including pre-action, pleadings, disclosure, witness statements, interim applications, and trial preparation.
Attend court hearings, conferences, and mediations as required.
Draft high-quality legal documents, including claim forms, particulars of claim, defence statements, applications, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
Advise clients on litigation strategy, costs, risks, and case prospects.
Conduct negotiations and settlement discussions with opponents and third parties.
Maintain proper file management in compliance with SRA regulations and internal policies.
Ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are professionally managed.
Contribute to the department's growth through business development when required.
Support junior staff or paralegals where necessary.

Contractual disputes
Debt recovery & enforcement
Landlord & tenant disputes
Property litigation
Professional negligence claims
Civil disputes
Consumer disputes
Boundary, nuisance, or neighbour disputes
Small Claims, Fast Track, and Multi-Track matters
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum
1-3 years PQE
as a Litigation Solicitor (or equivalent experience).
Solid knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
Experience handling a diverse litigation caseload independently.
Strong advocacy skills and confidence in attending hearings.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong client care skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
High level of professionalism, organisation, and attention to detail.
Experience with Lexcel or understanding of compliance requirements (preferred).
