Litigation Solicitor
to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases while contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload of litigation matters, which may include:
Civil and commercial disputes
Contractual claims
Debt recovery
Property and landlord/tenant disputes
Professional negligence claims
Employment-related litigation (if applicable)
Advise and represent clients from pre-action stage through to trial and enforcement.
Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications, and other court documents.
Conduct legal research and prepare detailed opinions.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Liaise with counsel, experts, clients, and other stakeholders to progress cases efficiently.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, SRA, and internal firm requirements.
Achieve billing targets while maintaining excellent client service standards.
Keep up to date with changes and developments in litigation law and practice.
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (minimum 2 years PQE in litigation preferred).
Proven experience handling a range of litigation matters independently.
Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise a busy caseload.
Client-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding legal services.
Proficient in using case management systems and legal research tools.
