The role:
You will join the Litigation / Dispute Resolution team, working across a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing a mixed caseload: commercial disputes, contract claims, professional negligence, debt recovery, injunctions, etc
Drafting pleadings, applications, witness statements and related documents
Advocacy in County Court / High Court / tribunal forums
Conducting disclosure, ADR, settlement negotiations
Liaising with clients, counsel, third parties
Supervising junior team members / paralegals as needed
About you:
Qualified fee-earner or fully qualified solicitor with solid litigation experience
Experience in civil litigation / commercial disputes
Strong drafting, advocacy and case management skills
Comfortable handling high pressure deadlines and complex instructions
Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
Based locally to Sussex / able to travel to Worthing & Horsham offices
