Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our establishment's bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage staff, maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high operational standards. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation that complements the bar menu. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste. Develop creative cocktail menus and promotional events to enhance customer engagement. Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or bar management within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and inspire a team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles related to beverage pairing. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food and beverage service. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests.
