Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Live-in Carer to provide one-to-one care and support to an individual in their own home. As a Live-in Carer, you will reside in the client's home, offering consistent assistance with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises. Administer or prompt medication as prescribed. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary. Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Offer companionship and emotional support. Accompany the client to appointments, social activities, or outings as required. Monitor the client's health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant professionals or family members. Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a live-in carer, support worker, or similar role. Knowledge of health and safety practices and personal care techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy. Physically fit and capable of performing care duties. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Right to work in the [UK/US/Other Region]. DBS check (or equivalent) required or willingness to undergo one.

Preferred:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Valid driving license (if required for the role). Experience with specific conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, or physical disabilities.
