Key Responsibilities
1. Personal Care
: Assist with personal care and promote client independence..
2. Daily Living Suppor
t : Support with meals, mobility, and household tasks as outlined in the care plan.
3. Medication Support
: Administer or support medication and maintain records
4. Emotional & Social Support
: Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage clients social and recreational engagement.
5. Mobility and Transport Assistance
: Supporting the client with safe movement within the home and accompanying them to appointments, social activities, or errands when required.
6. Record-Keeping & Reporting
: Maintain care records, report health changes promptly, and adhere to organisational policies and safeguarding standards.
7. Professional Conduct
: Demonstrate professionalism and respect, uphold data protection, and participate in ongoing training. Attend mandatory training and participate in professional development.
Essential requirements
DBS clearance required
No prior experience required full training will be provided
Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access
Proven experience in providing compassionate, person-centred care to individuals living with dementia.
Must be able to live on-site and provide consistent care in accordance with agreed working patterns, demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the client.
