Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carers to provide essential support to individuals in need to of assistance. As a Live-in Carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring differing levels of care and support. Your responsibilities will include offering personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities in the client's home.

Duties Include:

Contributing to a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of life. Providing personal care services including, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring clients nutrition and hydration needs are met. Offering companionship and engaging clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel, maintaining regular communication. Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities as needed.

Experience:

Previous experience in care setting is required, and experience of live-in care is preferred. Complex care experience is advantageous. An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries is required. A caring attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families are essential. A valid driving licence is beneficial for those required to transport clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 950.00-1,400.00 per week
