We are urgently seeking

committed, proactive, compassionate, responsible, and caring

individuals for the role of a

Live-In Carer

at properties based in Wellingborough, Oundle and Kettering.

This role requires you to

live in

the property of the client you are supporting on rota'd basis, this could be

2 weeks on/2 weeks off

or

1 week on/1 week

off dependant on your availability and the needs of the client. This will be discussed at interview in more detail.

To apply for this role you must be a

driver with a UK Driving License and Business Insurance

(or be willing to amend your insurance upon starting the role).

Duties - this is not exhaustive.

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Facilitate medication administration according to prescribed schedules. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences. Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary. Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations or activities. Implement behaviour management strategies for clients requiring additional support. Drive clients to appointments or social engagements as required.

Qualifications

An NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care would be preferable. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. A caring and empathetic nature is essential for providing a high standard and quality of care. Strong skills in care provision, including knowledge of medication administration and meal preparation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families. A valid UK driving licence with business insurance is preferred for transporting clients as needed. A compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others maintain their independence at home.

Live in Care wage ranges from 800 to 1100 per week dependant on the needs of the client you are supporting and whether you are operating on a self employed basis or not.
