LIVE IN CHEF....We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership skills will be crucial in supervising kitchen staff and fostering a collaborative environment.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality food production
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to recipes and presentation standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills
Maintain food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock
Train new kitchen staff on procedures, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences
