We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Lived Experience Tutors to join our team at Buckinghamshire Recovery College . This is a unique opportunity to co-produce and co-deliver educational, creative, and wellbeing-focused courses that support individuals in their mental health and recovery journeys.



You should have lived experience or have cared for someone with mental health challenges.



This role is delivered through NHS Professionals, and you be subject to their training and pre-employment checks. Following the interview process (with your permission) your details will be shared with NHSP, and you will go through their checks.



Work will typically be roughly up to 15 hours per week on a part-time basis though this will shift and change dependent on service needs. As part of these hours you will be required to attend service meetings.



Co-design and co-facilitate courses and workshops alongside peer and professional tutors.



Share your own recovery journey and self-management strategies in a supportive and empowering way.



Provide learning support, guidance, and encouragement to students.



Promote hope, choice, and personal responsibility in all aspects of your work.



Act as a positive role model and advocate for recovery-focused approaches.



The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
