Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare, be able to engage children in educational activities, and possess the ability to communicate effectively in English. A background in nannying or childcare is highly desirable, along with the capability to drive and assist with school runs or outings.

Duties

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Prepare meals and snacks, catering to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning and development. Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after playtime and meals. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Provide transportation for children as needed, including school drop-offs and pick-ups. Foster a positive relationship with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.

Skills

Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages such as French is a plus. Proven experience in childcare or nannying roles is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties. Creative approach to educating children through play and structured activities.
