A kind, emotionally intelligent, and confident Live-in Nanny is sought for a young vibrant family based in Notting Hill.



Caring for a bright and curious two-year-old, the position offers a blend of sole charge and shared care alongside a calm and collaborative mother. The family follows a gentle parenting approach incorporating elements of empathy, respect, understanding and boundaries - and are seeking someone who can support and reinforce these values.



The household includes two small, friendly dogs, and the family is open to long-term commitment with the right person.



Trials: end of July. Start date: August/early September.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Live-in Nanny for the two-year-old in Notting Hill, London include:


Daily care and developmental play with the two-year-old Supporting gentle routines and age-appropriate structure Attending playgroups, activities, and outings in the local area Preparing healthy meals and snacks Maintaining the child's areas (bedroom, playroom, clothes, toys) Collaborating with the parent for smooth shared care days - knowing when to step up or step back Occasional pet care, including feeding and walking the dogs if needed Evening babysitting two nights per week

Candidates must be/have:

Prior experience working with toddlers in a HNW private household A genuine belief in and commitment to gentle parenting principles Strong communication skills and emotional awareness Flexible, calm, and proactive nature Comfortable with dogs and pet-friendly homes Confident navigating both sole charge and shared care dynamics Fluent English

Accommodation

Private ensuite bedroom within the family home, offering space and privacy. The family are open to the Nanny staying full-time or returning home at weekends, if preferred.



A live-out arrangement would also be considered if the Nanny lives within 45 minutes of Notting Hill.

40 hours per week + two nights of babysitting. Flexibility with the hours.



Very occasional weekend work (agreed in advance).

Salary

50,000 - 55,000, DOE.
