Kaplan Living Glasgow, student accommodation, houses 276 full time students mostly studying at the Glasgow International College in partnership with the University of Glasgow. Located nearby to the University of Glasgow's main campus and offering 24-hour accommodation support where our students can feel happy, safe and looked after. The successful candidate will be part of a strong team supporting the delivery and development of the residence's services.

The Role





Our welfare officers play a vital role in supporting all our students in the residences. Living on site you will work in a rostered pattern to provide students with support during their first year in the UK. The welfare team provides support across a range of areas, including student experience, compliance, welfare, and administration whilst building a strong sense of community and trust with our students. Evening and weekend work will be required.

This role requires the successful candidate to live in our residence, due to council tax restrictions the position is only suitable for full time students.

Develop strong knowledge of and follow appropriate guidelines and protocols in all areas of your role Promote good resident welfare and enforcing behaviour policies Along with the Kaplan Residence and College teams responsibility for the Safeguarding and duty of care for U18 students Provide quick and appropriate response by emails and any other communication channels used in order to help effect a quick resolution of issues arising
