Overview

An experienced, creative and flexible Live-out Nanny is sought for a dynamic professional family based on the edge of Battersea Park in London, UK.



This is a long-term position supporting two young children, a confident, strong-willed toddler boy, who attends pre-prep five mornings per week, and a happy baby girl, aged one.



The family are highly creative and musical, with busy professional lives and a strong emphasis on communication, organisation and kindness. They are seeking a nanny who will become a trusted extension of the family, someone nurturing and playful, yet confident setting boundaries and supporting development.



Working alongside a full-time Housekeeper, the position is a mix of sole charge and shared care, alongside very hands-on parents.



Start date: end of January 2026.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Live-out Nanny near Battersea Park, London, include:


Providing high-quality, attentive care to both children Planning fun, educational and developmentally appropriate activities Supporting early learning, including phonics and language development through engaging and imaginative activities Taking the children to classes, outings and activities Preparing occasional nutritious lunches for the children Maintaining clear routines, boundaries and structure (firm but fair) Working collaboratively with parents and the full-time Housekeeper Remaining flexible and willing to help where needed Travelling with the family when required, sometimes at short notice

Candidates must be/have:

Warm, kind, loving and emotionally intuitive Confident, calm and consistent in setting boundaries Strong knowledge of Early Childhood Development with proven experience with similar ages in HNW families Active, creative and genuinely enjoys engaging with young children Exceptionally organised with excellent communication skills Comfortable working alongside hands-on parents and knowing when to step back Fluent English, and fluency in Spanish or Portuguese (desirable but not essential)

The role is live-out, with accommodation provided during periods of travel.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week.



Typically 10:00 - 18:00, with flexibility required/schedule depending on family's requirements. Weekend work may occasionally be required due to travel or family needs.

Location & Travel

----------------------



Primary residence is near Battersea Park, London, SW11.



Second home: Lisbon. The family travel here several times a year for 2-4 weeks at a time



Additional travel: Occasional trips to the Middle East.

Salary

----------



60,000 - 80,000, depending on experience.
