We are currently seeking a new Local Business Development Manager for our busy Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealership and up coming Kia Vans Centre. This role is key to establishing and developing quality relationships with local businesses ensuring that they make Volkswagen Commercial and Kia Vans and our business as their first choice for company vehicles.
Along with maintaining the existing customer base, the successful candidate will need to examine, identify and develop new opportunities within the local business market to maximise profitability & to deliver sales targets. Marketing the local business function effectively will also fall within your remit so that Fish Brothers presence in the local area stands at the forefront. You will review the current market to identify and gain profitable opportunities on an ongoing basis so that potential leads are not missed.
You will be a dynamic, goal orientated professional with excellent commercial awareness and a good knowledge of business to business sales. Previous experience in the automotive industry would be advantageous but we also welcome applications from candidates with B2B experience in other sectors. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required along with a high level of customer service and resilience. You will also require a full UK driving license.
Whilst you will be working independently, you may also be required to work alongside other colleagues across the Fish Brothers Group to tender for new business and to adhere to any service level agreements.
In return we offer an OTE salary of around 45,000 per annum (basic salary 25,000 + commission), a company car, 23 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays (rising to 27 days with length of service), an additional day of for your birthday, contributory pension scheme, staff discount on products and services, cycle to work scheme, employee and customer referral schemes, employee car purchase scheme, Healthcare Cash Plan, life assurance and enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay (last 4 subject to a qualifying period).
This is a full time role working a 40 hour week on a Monday to Friday basis.
