Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans for patients requiring general surgery.
Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures with precision and adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Monitor patient progress postoperatively, manage complications, and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery processes, and post-surgical care instructions.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Requirements
Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
Valid medical license to practice in the respective state or region.
Proven experience performing a variety of general surgical procedures with proficiency.
Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
