Here at Sett Valley Family Dental Heath Care, we are looking for a locum dentist. We have a lovely team providing excellent dental care in the heart of New Mills (High Peak). We are are an independently owned dental practice, predominantly NHS with view of building up the private list.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey.
Available days - Monday- Friday
UDA rate or day rate available
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to assess oral health. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Perform a range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals. Utilise medical imaging techniques to accurately diagnose dental issues. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Dentist needs to be GDC registered with professional indemnity, NHS performer number, DBS checked, all immunisations up to date and satisfactory references. All relevant CPD core topics must be up to date

Pay: 40,516.27-139,181.77 per year
