Locum Employment Lawyer \xe2\x80\x93 Predominantly Remote Working \xe2\x80\x93 Up to \xc2\xa355 per hour (Umbrella) \xe2\x80\x93 Bedfordshire
Venn Group\xe2\x80\x99s specialist legal team are thrilled to be recruiting for a Locum Employment Lawyer to join a reputable Public Sector Organisation based in the Bedfordshire area. This assignment is offered for an initial 3\xe2\x80\x936 month duration with likely further extension and will be worked on a predominately remote basis other than for occasional in person presence at Employment Tribunals. This will be a full-time position however part time candidates may also be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with previous Employment Law experience to become a part of a well-established public sector organisation.
Daily duties may include:
- Providing advice to Senior Managers in Council departments and other Officers and staff in HR on a wide range of employment law issues and claims made against the Authority
- Undertaking both contentious and non-contentious employment respondent work
- Conducting a caseload which may include claims relating to Sex discrimination, Race Discrimination, Unfair Dismissal, Constructive Dismissal, Disability Discrimination, Age Discrimination and Redundancy
