We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Collaborate with nursing home staff to ensure continuity of care for residents.
Utilise medical imaging techniques as necessary for accurate diagnosis.
Provide care in various settings including senior care facilities, hospice care, and home care environments.
Engage in public health initiatives to promote community health awareness.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Offer guidance on preventative healthcare measures and lifestyle modifications.
Skills
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
Experience in ICU settings is advantageous for managing critical cases.
Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work empathetically with elderly patients in nursing homes or hospice settings.
Familiarity with public health principles and practices is beneficial.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
