We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients across a variety of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and home care environments. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across diverse patient populations.
Administer medications safely and effectively, ensuring adherence to current clinical guidelines.
Coordinate with specialists for advanced procedures such as medical imaging or specialised treatments when necessary.
Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication use.
Support patients in nursing homes, hospice settings, or during home visits with personalised care plans.
Engage in clinical research initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes where applicable.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Stay updated with the latest developments in anatomy knowledge, public health policies, and clinical best practices.
Qualifications
Medical degree recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
Full registration with the GMC and a valid licence to practise medicine in the UK.
Proven experience in general practice or related fields such as ICU experience or senior care is desirable.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and their application in diagnosis.
Experience in medication administration across various healthcare settings including nursing homes or hospice care is advantageous.
Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to general practice.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care across diverse populations.
