We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
Conduct thorough consultations with patients, including history taking and physical examinations
Adhoc Locum dates November/December
Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups
Prescribe appropriate medication and treatment plans, ensuring safe medication administration
Perform or oversee necessary medical imaging and diagnostic procedures
Provide specialised care in areas such as ICU, hospice, nursing home, senior care, or home care as required
Engage in clinical research activities to support evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, physiotherapists, and specialists to optimise patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Requirements
Fully qualified Medical Degree recognised in the UK with registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
Proven experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings
Knowledge of anatomy and proficiency in patient care across diverse environments such as nursing homes or hospice care
Experience with clinical research, medical imaging, and medication administration is advantageous
Strong understanding of public health principles and preventative medicine strategies
ICU experience or expertise in senior and home care is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from varied backgrounds
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in healthcare practice
