Job Description

We are looking for a Locum Pharmacist to work in a growing mail order pharmacy based in the historic market town of Alcester, Warwickshire. The pharmacy specialises in care home dispensing with bespoke training and support provided by the resident pharmacists. The pharmacy also specialises in an expanding set of private pharmacy services including GLP-1 dispensing which are central to the continued growth of the business.

The pharmacy has a warm and friendly environment closed from the public, yet the candidate must strive to adhere strictly to the care home deadlines and delivery schedules by checking monitored dosage systems accurately with speed and efficiency. The locum will look to help support the growth of the business alongside the resident pharmacists with a strong emphasis on service delivery and implementation which is core to the pharmacy business. The candidate will lead by example through the effective running of the pharmacy and demonstrate leadership whilst proactively overseeing community services and managing the daily workload and objectives for the wider team. This will be led by embracing personal development and that if the team and having a positive mindset to promote and deliver services with the objective of achieving a high standard of customer experience on every occasion.

The post is a full-time/part-time medium/long term block booking.

Management experience would be preferred but not essential.

Hourly rate: negotiable
