We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy medical practice. Duties
Conducting patient assessments and health screenings to identify individual needs.
Administering vaccinations and immunisations in accordance with national guidelines.
Assisting with minor procedures and wound care, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
Providing health education and advice to patients on various health conditions and lifestyle choices.
Managing patient records accurately and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Supporting chronic disease management programmes, including monitoring blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and medication adherence.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
Ensuring infection control protocols are strictly followed within the practice environment.
Experience
Proven experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to general nursing practice.
Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse patient groups.
Familiarity with healthcare software systems for record keeping and appointment management.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK, such as NMC registration or equivalent.
