Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Locum Plastic Surgery Specialty Registrar (SPR) for a long-term assignment at NHS . The successful candidate will be involved in the assessment, treatment, and surgical management of patients under the guidance of consultants. This role requires a proactive, skilled doctor who can provide high-quality care within the NHS framework.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and manage patients requiring plastic surgical care, including elective and emergency cases.
Participate in operative lists, outpatient clinics, and ward rounds.
Support the on-call rota and respond to surgical emergencies as required.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
Participate in departmental meetings, teaching, and audit activities.
Essential Requirements
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
Previous NHS experience as a middle-grade or registrar in Plastic Surgery.
Ability to work independently at SPR level across general and specialist plastic surgery cases.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience in microsurgery, burns, hand surgery, or reconstructive surgery.
Participation in audits, quality improvement, or research projects.
Additional Information
Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
Long-term assignment with immediate start preferred.

Pay: 55.00-65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
