Loft Lift Crane Operator

Salary:

45,000 (DOE)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 4:30 pm, with alternate Saturdays, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Total Weekly Hours:

47.75

The Role:

As a Loft Lift Crane Operator at MP Moran in Watford, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations for our building materials. You'll be responsible for operating lifting equipment to assist with deliveries and stock movement, supporting our team and customers with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Operate loft lift crane equipment safely and in compliance with all health and safety regulations Load, lift, and position building materials accurately at customer sites or within the yard Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs Work closely with drivers and yard staff to ensure smooth delivery and lifting operations Maintain accurate records of lifting activities and adhere to company procedures

Requirements:

Valid crane operator certification (e.g., ALLMI or equivalent) Proven experience operating loft lift cranes or similar lifting equipment Strong awareness of safety protocols and risk assessments Good communication and teamwork skills A reliable, safety-first approach to all tasks
