JOB TITLE - Logistics Support Operative - ADS Stevenage

Salary 13.92 per hour - 40 hours per week - Day shift - 7.30am to 4.00pm

Position Overview of Logistics Support Operative- Stevenage

Reporting to the Services Co-ordinator in the Derby area, you will be working predominately in a standalone role within the customer locations, ensuring the smooth collections and deliveries are carried out via schedules in a timely, safe and efficient manner to customer sites. Within the delivery and collection schedules you will be required to carry out basic maintenance on stock items. This will include ad hoc cleaning of transportation containers when required, which will also include working at height. Training will be provided where necessary.

To load and unload and distribute goods within a network of delivery locations locally To establish and maintain customer relationships to achieve maximum efficiency
To have the ability to demonstrate the willingness and enthusiasm to use initiative as the role involves liaising with the customer face to face so good communication skills are essential.

Attention to detail is required for accurate records to be maintained

Requirements of Logistics Support Operative - Stevenage

Applicants must be aged 21 or over, having held for a minimum of one year a full driving licence up to 3.5T vehicles. Previous experience within a driving and warehouse environment is preferred
You must be able to demonstrate a five year history and pass security checks where applicable.

Ability to work on own initiative and manage conflicting demands and problem solve Counterbalance Fork-Lift Truck experience and licence preferable, training will be provided if required
